What is a Pillar?

As a church family, we collectively dedicate ourselves to work together to see God’s Kingdom advanced on the earth. Joining a Pillar Team is the easiest way to jump in on the mission.

We believe that serving creates a space for you (and others!) to encounter God and journey in discipleship as you find community within the church.

There are so many opportunities for you to use your giftings, skills, passions, and time to serve.

Pillar Teams:

First Impressions Team

The First Impressions Team is made up of our hospitality, greeting, and set up/cleaning pillars. They help create an atmosphere where everyone who walks through the doors of Antioch Raleigh, whether for the first time or after years of attending, have the feeling of being at home. Roles on this team include:

  • Greeting Team: Welcome people as they arrive at Sunday Service.

  • Hospitality Team: Prepare coffee and set up cafe area each week.

  • Set Up/Cleaning: Wipe down our traffic areas and arrange spaces for service.

 

Antioch Kids Team

Each week, kids from a wide variety of ages and backgrounds participate in our children's ministry and this team leads the way in serving and investing in them. Roles on this team include:

  • Class Leaders & Assistants: Build community with kids and help them grow in their faith and character.

  • Check-In Facilitator: Welcome our families each week and help process them into our weekly Antioch Kids service.

  • Administration: Make an impact by using your administration gifts to help facilitate our weekly children's ministry.

 

Worship & Prayer Teams

This team provides leadership to our community by helping usher and disciple us into a place of weekly worship and declaration. Roles on this team include:

  • Worship Ministry: Use your musical gifts to help us lift high the name of Jesus together.

  • Prayer: Join us for weekly prayer before our Sunday Service to seek the Lord’s heart for our gathering and to pray for His outpouring on our time.

 

Production & Communications Teams

This team seeks to use the creative gifts and resources to strengthen the culture of our church by creating integrated experiences and communication. Roles on this team include:

  • Videography & Photography: Help capture and communicate the story of Jesus and the people of our church through video and photography.

  • Producers and Graphics Operators: Help communicate the story of Jesus through sound, lighting and production.

  • Communications Team: Use your skills to tell the story of Jesus and the people of our church through digital, visual and print media.

 

This team helps to provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for us to gather and minister from. Roles on this team include:

  • Cleaning: Help keep our space clean by sanitizing our space and clearing trash from our facility.

  • Landscaping: Help beautify our outdoor space by assisting with the weeding, planting, and maintenance of our outdoor space.
